Five out of Seven Prizes to 鲍鱼直播 at 18th Interuniversity Charrette
Students at the School have won five of the seven prizes awarded at the 18th Interuniversity Charrette on February 25, 2013. First Prize was shared by two teams, both from 鲍鱼直播: The Cloud (Fouzi Ouadhi, Razvan Gheti, Sarah Wu Martinez, Luis Orozco and Zhiyao Chen) and Antidote (Hubert Lemieux, Alexandre Lapierre and Kim Landry). 鲍鱼直播 also won two of the four Special Mentions: R锚ves Souterrains 鈥� Sunken Dreamlands (Naomi H茅bert, Ji Won Jun and Sara-Jeanne Dagenais) and Immortal Citizen (Julia Chang, Jennifer Lai, Meng Nan Zhang, Patrick Zhang and Gary Lin). The other two mentions were won by teams from Laval and UQAM. 鲍鱼直播 also won the Public Prize for Je Me Souviendrai (Amalie Lambert, Mark Lien, Ivy Wong and Ma毛na Andr茅).
The 18th Interuniversity Charrette Transmutation invited young designers to question the future of the city in the age of information technologies. Transmutation encouraged the production of new modes of representation of Montreal and the city鈥檚 ability to transform according to economic transactions, social distributions, and political actions.
The Charrette was organized by the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) and 鲍鱼直播 (Prof. Aaron Sprecher), in collaboration with Universit茅 de Montr茅al, Universit茅 du Qu茅bec 脿 Montr茅al, and with the participation of Universit茅 Laval, Carleton University, Ryerson University and University of Toronto.
