Public Astro Night

Astro±«ÓãÖ±²¥ presents the 28th Public Astro Night, with a public lecture by Dr. Laurens Keek. He is a post-doctoral fellow visiting the Physics Department of ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His public lecture is entitled: "The X-ray Sky: Black Holes and Neutron Stars". The lecture will be followed by night sky observations (weather permitting) and possibly a tour of an experimental astrophysics laboratory (to be confirmed).

This event is intended for a general audience, and it is free of charge. No reservation is necessary. Snacks and refreshments will be served (please bring your own cup).

The event will be held at the ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ Rutherford Physics Building, starting at 7:00pm.
