About the Master of Management in Finance
The Master of Management in Finance (MMF) degree is a twelve-month specialized program in finance. The MMF program prepares students for a career in finance through a comprehensive curriculum that integrates advanced financial concepts and quantitative methods with real-world business practices.
A unique aspect of the MMF program is that students work as analysts at听Desautels Capital Management Inc.,听a licensed and regulated investment management firm with an independent board of directors.听Students manage the funds of external accredited investors and learn by practice every aspect of the investment management business. DCM has听$8.5 million of assets under management, and the new Alpha2听equity fund will be managed by MMF students. Skills acquired at DCM are also relevant for students pursuing careers in investment banking, risk management, corporate finance and management consulting.
