AMUSE/Casuals and ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ sign a new collective agreement

On January 30th, the Association of ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ Support Employees (AMUSE/Casuals) / Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ signed a new collective agreement. This is the second collective agreement with this unit and it will last 40 months with an expiry date of May 31st, 2020.

The negotiation of this collective agreement took place over a period of 18 months, in which there were 24 negotiation meetings. Eleven of these meetings were held with the assistance of a conciliator appointed by the Ministry of Labour.

AMUSE members voted 84% in favour of the agreement on January 9th.

AMUSE/PSAC (Casuals) represents approximately 1,400 casual employees.
