Hockey semifinal playoff dates announced for Redmen and Martlets

MONTREAL - The men's and women's hockey semifinal opener between Carleton and ±«ÓãÖ±²¥, are set to get underway on Wednesday (Feb. 24).

Due to a scheduling conflict with the men's playoffs between the same two institutions, Game 1 of the QSSF women's best-of-three semifinal series will open at the Carleton University Ice Palace. The undefeated and No.1-ranked ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ Martlets will host the remaining two games at McConnell Arena, located atop University Street, behind Molson Stadium. Game 2 is slated for Friday at 7 p.m. and if a rubber match is needed, is scheduled for Sunday a 2 p.m.

The men's series, an OUA East best-of-three semifinal, will open in Montreal on Wednesday with the Carleton Ravens in town to play the ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ Redmen, Game 2 is set for Friday at Carleton and Game 3, if necessary, will be back at McConnell Arena on Sunday night. Game time for all three men's contests is 7 p.m.
