Job Opening: MSc/PhD Research Assistant, PET Imaging

The Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Unit of the McConnell Brain Imaging Centre (BIC) at the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI, ±«ÓćÖ±²„) is looking to fill the position of a fullā€time Research Assistant. We are seeking to hire a PET specialist to make a difference in an outstanding scientific environment, at the crossroads between cellular and molecular biology, radiochemistry, brain imaging physics, biophysical modelling and neuroscience. The McConnell BICā€™s PET Unit has established many firsts in PET science: It features 3 PET scanners (one standard resolution Siemens HR+, one highā€ resolution research tomograph Siemens HRRT, and one microPET camera). It also benefits from the immediate proximity of an onā€site, researchā€dedicated cyclotron and radiochemistry Unit to synthesize a large variety of radiopharmaceuticals.Ā
