Professor Margaret Somerville, DCL'78, Samuel Gale Professor of Law at ±«ÓãÖ±²¥, is the first recipient of the Avicenna Ethics in Science Prize for "promoting principles and ethical norms to guide scientific and technological development and social transformation."
