It was a milestone victory for ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ head Marc Mounicot, who improved to 200-62-47 overall. Currently in his 14th campaign behind the ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ bench, Mounicot also won his 100th career game against the Gaiters.

Green's first goal came on a low shot from just inside the 18-yard box in the 18th minute. She doubled the lead on a through ball from Alexandria Hoyte 21 minutes later.

Goalkeeper Molly Bucholtz, a sophomore from Peterborough, Ont., made eight saves in 90 minutes, including a pair of big stops in the second half that kept the Gaiters within striking distance. For ±«ÓãÖ±²¥, veteran Victoria Muccilli played the first 70 minutes and earned the victory, while Shimone Slomowitz replaced her for the final 20. Neither goalkeeper was called upon to make a stop.
