MONTREAL - A team representing ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ Athletics & Recreation finished second in the women's division at the 13th annual Tuques Bleues Celebration and Snowshoe Event held atop Mount Royal, Thursday,

±«ÓãÖ±²¥, which sent eight women and six men, also captured the Corporate Challenge Cup, awarded to the first corporate team that succeeds in getting 10 or more participants to finish the race in 25 minutes or less.

The fundraiser, organized by Les Amis de la Montagne, has the objective of raising $250,000, towards educational and protection programs for Mount Royal.

The event, which provides individuals and companies a unique way to contribute to the conservation of the mountain, featured some 800 participants in a torchlight snowshoe race, followed by an outdoor BBQ and indoor gastronomic buffet at the Chalet du Mont Royal.
