±«ÓãÖ±²¥ grad Bradley appointed coach at Zagreb hockey club

American Douglas Bradley will be a new coach at Zagreb’s Medvescak ice-hockey club. Bradley, 53, will have the position of "director of hockey operations" and be responsible for finding, evaluating and training players.

Ìý

Club sport director Dragutin Ljubic said yesterday (Mon) it was possible the club would hire another coach to help Bradley with the training process. Bradley has been the coach of Slovene ice-hockey club Jesenica for the past 10 months. The club has twice won the Slovene national championship.

Ìý

Bradley started his coaching career in the 1990s and coached teams in Switzerland, Germany and Austria.

Ìý

Medvescak also announced it was signing another player, Croat Michael Novak, 21, whoÌý played last season for three Swiss clubs.

Ìý

Novak played for the Croatian national team at the World Championships in 2008 in Japan.
