The best feel-good story of the Canadiens' season was Mathieu Darche. It's remarkable how far the St. Laurent native has come since his first season of university hockey at ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ in 1996-97, when he had no goals and one assist in 15 games. Part of the reason for his limited success might have been the fact he was playing two sports at ±«ÓãÖ±²¥: hockey and football.
