New Director of Admissions, Faculty of Medicine

I am happy to announce the appointment of the new Director
of
Admissions (replacing France Drolet), Charmaine Lyn.
As the Director of Admissions, Charmaine will work closely with
me and
the rest of the team, on the management and continued development
of
Medical Admissions.
Charmaine’s previous position was as Assistant Dean of
External
Affairs/Admissions in the Faculty of Law, and she will therefore
bring
a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position.Ìý In her
years
with Law, one of Charmaine’s many significant accomplishments
was
establishment of the High School Outreach Program, partnering
law-
student volunteers with high school students from communities that
are
under-represented in law schools and the legal profession.Ìý
Charmaine
has a B.A. and an LL.B/B.C.L. from ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ and became
a
member of the Quebec and Montreal Bar in 2004.
