MONTREAL -- Goaltender Riley ±«ÓãÖ±²¥is of Peterborough, Ont., was named tournament MVP as ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ cruised to a pair of lopsided victories over Concordia and the University of Massachusetts to capture the seventh annual ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ Lacrosse Spring Invitational Tournament at Molson Stadium over the weekend.

It marked the sixth time in seven years that ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ captured their spring tourney.

The Redmen hammered Concordia 17-2 on Saturday, keyed by a five-goal performance from sophomore Ryan Besse of Aurora, Ont.,Ìý and four markers from rookie Leland de Langley of Orangeville, Ont.

The victory qualified ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ for Sunday's final, where they waltzed to an 11-2 conquest over U.Mass, led by freshman Alex Rohrbach of Princeton, N.J., who tallied a pair of goals and added three helpers.

±«ÓãÖ±²¥is allowed only four goals in two games and was one of
five ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ players named to the all-tournament team, along with
defender Kyle Robinson, long-stick midfielder
Jon Rathauser, midfielder Ossie
Long and attacker Connor
Goodwin.
