Rugby women ravage Ravens

OTTAWA - Five different players figured in the scoring as
visiting ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ skunked Carleton 24-0 in women's university rugby
preseason action, Sunday.
The Martlets received tries from Montreal natives Brianna
Gibson, who opened the scoring, and Ciara
Briscoe, plus freshmen Amy Qi and
Danielle Marcotte of Huntingdon, Que.
Rounding out the scoring for ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ was senior Chelsea
Privée, who has returned after a four-year layoff to
recover from shoulder surgery. The 5-foot-8 native of Pointe
Claire, Que., contributed four points on a pair of
conversions.
The Martlets will begin regular season play on Sept. 12 against the
Gee-Gees in Ottawa.
