MONTREAL – Matt Thornhill of Ile-Bizard, Que., netted a game-high 28 points as visiting ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ knocked off the first-place UQAM Citadins for the second time in three days, with an 86-78 victory in men’s hoops action, Saturday.

Montreal native Moustafa El Zanaty added 20 pointsand Sean Anthony of Vancouver, B.C., had 10 as the fourth-place Redmen improved to 5-7 and sit only two points shy of first-place in the tightly-contested Quebec University Basketball League.

With four games remaining, ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ and Bishop’s are both 5-7 in the tightest race. UQAM, Laval and Concordia all share the division lead with identical 6-4 records.
