MONTREAL - Three members of the ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ Redmen have merited all-star honours by the Quebec University Soccer League, Thursday.

Midfielder Yohann Capolungo, a 21-year-old native of France, and ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ Gareth Pugh of Ottawa each earned a berth on the first team, while defender Graeme Tingey of North Vancouver, B.C, was selected to the second squad.

Capolungo, a finance sophomore who made the QUSL second team last year, led the Redmen with four goals and added one assist in nine regular seasonÌýgames despite missing three contests with an ankle sprain. He started in every game and in five of those, played the full 90 minutes, earning player-of-the-game honours three times. In 15 games overall heading into playoffs, he scored eight goals and three assists for 11 points.

Pugh, 22, is a speedy 5-foot-10, 185-pound striker and a fifth-year history major. He started in 10 of his 11 games played and finished third in the conference scoring race with nine points, including three goals.

Tingey, who measures Ìý6-foot-2 and 176 pounds, bounced back strong from an early season injury that kept him out of the lineup for the first five contests. Upon returning to the lineup, the 20-year-old finance junior started in six of his seven matches, setting up two goals from his defender position.
