HAMILTON, Ont. -- Francis Verreault-Paul of the ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ Redmen hockey team is the OUAÌýPioneer Energy male athlete of the week.
TheÌýÌý5-foot-10, 180-poundÌýwinger
fromÌýMashteuiatsh, Que.,Ìýtallied three goals and a pair
of assists over three games, helpingÌý±«ÓãÖ±²¥ claim their
first-ever CIS men's hockey championship in Fredericton,
N.BÌý., last weekend.

Verreault-Paul, a 24-year-old psychology senior whoÌýwas named as ±«ÓãÖ±²¥'s player of the game in each of ±«ÓãÖ±²¥'s first two University Cup contests,Ìýalso received the Major W.J. 'Danny' McLeod Award as the most valuable player of the tournament.
