Old Chancellor Day Hall, the Faculty of Law鈥檚 most iconic building, is closing at the end of June for 16 months as we undertake much-needed renovations to upgrade the building鈥檚 heating, electrical systems, plumbing, windows and more, while respecting its historical features.
Faculty and staff who were in OCDH have been relocated either to New Chancellor Day Hall and 3674-3690 Peel Street, or to rented office space near 鲍鱼直播鈥檚 Roddick Gates at 2001 鲍鱼直播 College Avenue, suite 750.

The Committee is inviting submission of papers that, among other things, will discuss and critically analyze the current socio-political, strategic and legal challenges to the achievement of good global space governance and, as well, propose viable policy options and regulatory mechanisms that will help ensure that present generations of humanity can continue their exploration and use of outer space without seriously compromising the possibility for future generations to do the same.

The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce that Dr. Yaw Nyampong has been named Executive Director of the Centre for Research in Air & Space Law.
Yaw Nyampong (LLM鈥�05, DCL鈥�11) is also a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Ghana, Legon. He held an Arsenault Postdoctoral Fellowship at 鲍鱼直播's Institute of Air & Space Law in 2011-2012, and a Boulton Fellowship at the Faculty of Law in 2012-2013.

Recently, the 鲍鱼直播 Daily published an article describing an effort by a student organization 鈥� Demilitarize 鲍鱼直播聽鈥� to protest activities at several 鲍鱼直播 institutions, including the Institute of Air & Space Law [IASL], a graduate program of the Faculty of Law. The article erroneously states, "The IASL . . . conducts research for the U.S. Air Force." This is false. The IASL conducts no research for or on behalf of the USAF or any other military institution.

The position(s) is (are) funded by the Erin J C Arsenault Trust Fund. The research team is led by Prof. Ram Jakhu, Associate Professor, and Associate Director of the Centre for Research in Air and Space Law. The position(s) is (are) for one year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year.
