Debbie Blythe, a translator and听lecturer at the 鲍鱼直播 School of Continuing Studies' Translation and Written Communication unit, has been awarded the Cole Foundation Prize for Translation - French to English. Blythe received the award in recognition for her work on听Turkey and the Armenian Ghost: On the Trail of the Genocide.听The prize was awarded as part of the听Quebec Writers' Federation QWF Literary Awards,听the most important literary event of the year for Quebec听English-language writers and听readers.听

Debbie Blythe has had a dual role as both a professional translator and a lecturer in the Translation and Written Communication Unit at 鲍鱼直播鈥檚 School of Continuing Studies for over 20 years. During that time she has translated a wide variety of French-language texts into English 鈥� a screenplay, documentaries, and countless legal, medical, and commercial texts. This past summer, she dedicated herself to a very special project.听
