Sir Ernest Rutherford (1871-1937), a Nobel laureate with a link to ±«ÓãÖ±²¥, was a New Zealand-born British physicist who became known as the father of nuclear physics. This is a rare screening of a 64-minute segment of a three-part film produced by John Campbell from New Zealand. It covers Rutherford's life at ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ and in Manchester in the period 1898-1919. Jean Barrette, a Physics professor at ±«ÓãÖ±²¥, will lead the post-screening discussion.
