Respiratory Protection & Fit Testing
Respiratory safety training and fit testing is intended for ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ staff and students who require respiratory protection while performing activities connected to ±«ÓãÖ±²¥. Although the elimination or reduction of respiratory hazards through substitution or engineering controls is preferred, there may be instances in which the use of a respirator is required.
This course provides respiratory safety training and quantitative fit testing for both reusable full-face mask and half-face masks, using a machine to measure the leakage into a respirator.
Pre-requisite: Do not buy/purchase any equipment prior to attending the training. The fit test will allow you to choose the most appropriate size and model of respirator.
