Biography: 

Shannon (they/them/iel) is one of two equity education advisors on the Equity Team. Their portfolio is building equity education initiatives focused on gender, 2S&LGBTQIA+, and intersectional equity. Shannon’s prior positions at ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ include managing the It Takes All of Us sexual violence education program under both Teaching and Learning Services and the Office for Sexual Violence Response, Support and Education. They hold a BA Communication from Simon Fraser University and a GradDip Human Resources Management from ±«ÓãÖ±²¥. Shannon is passionate about employee wellbeing and helping foster more inclusive, safer work environments.
