Retraite Quebec ends their participation in the reciprocal transfer agreement

On June 19, 2023, the Pension Administration Committee of the ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ Pension Plan was advised that Retraite Québec will be ending their participation in the reciprocal transfer agreement. This agreement allowed for pension transfers between Québec universities and eligible public-sector pension plans administered by Retraite Québec.
After August 31, 2023, current and former Part A members of the ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ Pension Plan who previously participated or currently participate in a Quebec public sector plan will no longer be able to transfer credited service to or from a Quebec public sector plan such as the of Government and Public Employees Retirement Plan (RREGOP) and the Pension Plan of Management Personnel (PPMP).
