Stroke Centre Public Open House: Welcome to all

Every ten minutes, a Canadian suffers a stroke. This year, strokes will kill approximately 14,000 Canadians. The Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital (The Neuro) is staging an Open House on Wednesday, June 1, the first day of Stroke Awareness Month, to raise awareness of stroke and the health professionals who help stroke sufferers recover from this serious condition.
10:00 am – 3:00 pm: Information Kiosks on Stroke and Stroke Prevention at the Main lobbies of the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital and the Montreal General Hospital.
1:30 pm – 2:00 pm: Public Lecture, Heather Perkins, Nurse Clinician, Stroke Program, Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital, Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre
