±«ÓãÖ±²¥â€™s prize-winning researchers and scholars shine at Bravo Gala

Bravo 2024 Gala celebrates 111 award-winning researchers and scholars at ±«ÓãÖ±²¥.

On March 21, ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ celebrated 111 laureates at the 19thÌýedition of Bravo, a gala event honouring researchers who won major provincial, national, and international research prizes and awards in 2023. Guests, including researchers, their families and friends, faculty, students, and members of ±«ÓãÖ±²¥â€™s academic administration, gathered to celebrate their accomplishments.

Eight of the honourees were from the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences:

  • Certificate of Recognition ´¥ÌýAwarded by the 2023 Asia-Pacific Drying Conference: Hosahalli Ramaswamy, Department of Food Science and Agricultural Chemistry
  • Early Career Researcher Partnership Prize ´¥ÌýAwarded by the Institute of Nutrition, Metabolism and Diabetes and the Canadian Nutrition Society:ÌýDaiva Nielsen, School of Human Nutrition
  • Induction into the Quebec Agricultural Hall of Fame:ÌýCharles Vincent, Department of Natural Sciences ()
  • Living Legend AwardÌý| Awarded by the International Union of Nutritional Sciences: Harriett Kuhnlein, School of Human Nutrition
  • President’s Prize for Outstanding Emerging Researchers ´¥ÌýAwarded by ±«ÓãÖ±²¥: Jennifer Ronholm, Department of Food Science and Agricultural Chemistry
