Established in 1935, the Hughlings Jackson Lecture is The Neuro’s premier scientific lecture. It honours the legacy of British neurologist John Hughlings Jackson (1835-1911) who pioneered the development of neurology as a medical specialty. A reception will follow.

´¡²ú²õ³Ù°ù²¹³¦³Ù:ÌýMoving through the world requires constructing a description of the external environment from internal sensory information, using that description to develop a navigational strategy, and turning that strategy into motor commands. A combination of experimental and theoretical work in flies has illuminated all three of these points, resulting in a remarkably complete account of fly navigation.
