Abstract:ÌýAlthough intracellular tau has been linked to the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease (AD) through post-mortem studies, recent developments in tau-related biomarkers have suggested a multiphase evolution of tau-related changes that is unique to AD. In this talk we will highlight work in autosomal dominant and sporadic AD that opens up the mechanistic and therapeutic implications of tau biomarkers.
