Program Requirements

The professional Master of Science, Applied, in Physical Therapy is a 58-credit degree program, which includes 1,000 hours of fieldwork education over five terms and leads to professional licensure to practise. Students admitted to the M.Sc.A. who have undergraduate degrees other than the B.Sc.(Rehabilitation Science); Major in Physical Therapy from ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ will be required to complete a qualifying year of study, prior to beginning the master's program.     Phys & Occ Therapy : Theoretical and practical basis for utilization of electronic equipment for quantitative measurement in rehabilitation research. Ambulatory assistive devices, electronic plates and instrumentation to assess normal and pathological human movement will be used to demonstrate the application of theory and techniques for quantitative analysis of human performance. Recording, reduction and analysis of electromyographic, kinetic and kinematic data included.
