Chemical processes and unit operations in the manufacture of microelectronic components with emphasis on silicon chip fabrication, fundamentals of crystal growth, photolithography, deposition of thin films, dopant diffusion, plasma and chemical etching, packaging. Safety and environmental concerns. Sustainability practices in this industry.
