Overview

History : Explores various aspects of the Middle Ages through thematic approaches. Examines specific issues such as gender, intercultural relations, trade and commerce, diplomatic history, urban development, or religious development in the medieval period, through a variety of sources, including narrative and archival documents, archaeological data, and material culture. Historical methodology in relation to the study of the Middle Ages is emphasized. Topics vary by year.
