Operation Brown Building - Public Community Consultation

Monday, February 16, 2015 10:15to11:45
Brown Student Services Room 5001, 3600 rue McTavish, Montreal, QC, H3A 0G3, CA

ONE BUILDING | MANY CHALLENGES

(Dates, times, & rooms below)

The Brown Student Services Building was built to house all of ±«ÓãÖ±²¥'s downtown student services under one convenient roof. However, with two large wings, scattered offices, scores of underused space, and a lack of purposeful signage, currently it can feel like anything BUT convenient to the everyday student.

That's why we're coming to you! Whether you're a student, staff, faculty, or administrator, we're inviting the ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ community to come and participate in an open-ended public community consultation. Your ideas will feed into redesign recommendations that will be considered for implementation as early as this summer. Come share your stories, your beefs and complaints, your ideas or solutions; we want to hear from you! Food, snacks, and drinks will be provided by the ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ Spaces Project.

MSP will be hosting two public workshops this month:
1) FEB 16th, 10:00am-12:00pm in ROOM 5001
2) FEB 18th, 4:30pm-8:00pm in the Brown Building McTavish Entrance Lobby

Come to either or both, and feel free to post any thoughts, questions, or concerns on this event that you might like to bring up - we'll find a way to incorporate your comments on the day of!

Operation Brown Building (OBB) is a public & participatory project jointly undertaken by the students of ARCH 514, members of the ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ Spaces Project (MSP), and the Brown Building Redesign Advisory Group in Student Services.
