Although her roots lie in both San Francisco and Vancouver, she has found her temporary home at ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ as a U1 Management student majoring in Marketing. Four BCom case teams made the finals at the 38th annual Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (ICBC) held at Queen's University from January 14 to 17, 2016 with the Debate team finishing second and the Ethics team taking first place.Ìý

Desautels Honours in Investment Management students Drew Allen and Philippe Rich won the 2015 Harvard Financial Analysts Symposium. In this competition, students had to present a stock pitch of professional quality to a panel of industry experts. The honours students collected the top prize of $1,000 based on the merits of their investment thesis, rigorous analysis, and in-depth research.

If you lived in the Lower Plateau this summer, you may have had a stranger knock on your door asking if you’d like to take Zumba classes in her backyard. This stranger would have beenÌýShazia Shariff, a U4 International Management and Political Science student at ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ who created Karibuni Zumba, providing five-dollar classes over the summer to neighbours looking to get active while getting to know each other.

The Management Undergraduate Society (MUS) organized the Winter Carnival and the Cancer Auction, raising approximately $45,000 towards cancer research this year, a significant increase from last year’s events, which raised $30,000.

Now you can help them apply their knowledge and passion through the Impact Internship Program at the Social Economy Initiative (SEI) of the Marcel Desautels Institute for Integrated Management (MDIIM). The program pairs top undergraduate students with social-purpose organizations (i.e. non-profits and social enterprises) for ten weeks over the summer.

En mai dernier, Olivier Babin a obtenu une note parfaite de 45/45 pour l'ensemble de ses examens finaux au Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf. Il est le deuxième étudiant à réussir cet exploit en 30 ans d'existence du programme de baccalauréat international. Il poursuit ses études à la Faculté de gestion Desautels de ±«ÓãÖ±²¥, avec un baccalauréat conjoint, économie et finance. Il reçoit aussi une prestigieuse bourse Greville Smith, l'une des plus importantes bourses d'admission à ±«ÓãÖ±²¥.
