In response to COVID-19, has made over two million books from ֱ Library’s print collection available online for all ֱ students, faculty, and staff. The includes in-copyright material. The new service provides remote access to over half of ֱ’s print collection.

Space Update: The Osler Library of the History of Medicine space has been repaired and reconstructed. The third and fourth floor spaces surrounding the Osler Library and managed by the Faculty of Medicine are now being renovated. As a result, the Osler Library of the History of Medicine will be operational following the completion of this construction project. Library services in McIntyre are expected to resume in 2021.

Osler materials continue to be accessible and Osler staff are available to assist users.

As a result of the water infiltration and recovery efforts related to McIntyre Medical Buildingfire incidentin July, the Osler Library continues to be closed until further notice. The Osler recovery team has been focusing their efforts on restoring materials and making holdings from the Osler Library of the History of Medicine collection accessible to users.

As a result of the water infiltration and recovery efforts related to McIntyre Medical Building fire incident in July, the Osler Library continues to be closed until further notice. The Osler recovery team has been focusing their efforts on securing the contents of the Osler Library of the History of Medicine. All books, rare books, art, and artefacts from the Osler have been wrapped, packed, and removed so that a complete inspection of the Osler section of the building can begin.

Please note that onFriday, July 20 from 7am to 3pm, the terrace facing lower field along the Redpath Library Building will be inaccessible due to tree removal.

The terrace will be closed from the north end (Redpath Museum) to the terrace garden.

Access to lower campus and the McLennan Library Building continues to beaccessible from McTavish Street. Two security agents will be on site toredirect pedestrian traffic on McTavish street.
