The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ is open to talented leaders and changemakers at the graduate (master’s) level, from across Sub-Sharan Africa who aspire to improve and transform nutrition, public health, public policy, and sustainable agriculture sectors across Africa.ÌýÌýÌý
How to Apply
- Determine your eligibility.
- Complete the *.
- Once your application is pre-screened, provide additional documentation as requested by the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program team.Ìý
- Successful pre-screened applicants will be invited to apply to ±«ÓãÖ±²¥.ÌýÌýSuccessful applicants will receive a fee waiver and detailed instructions on how to apply for admission to ±«ÓãÖ±²¥.Ìý
*You must apply to the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program first.Ìý Only once you have been successfully pre-screened will you be invited to apply to your chosen program of study through the ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ admissions process.
The Program will not accept applications submitted outside the set application process.ÌýÌýÌý
Applications for 2024-25 are closed. Applications for 2025-26 will open in September 2024.

- Track record as a transformative leader and person of service within their community.Ìý
- Quality of application in line with the Mastercard Foundation ethos and values of the ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ Mastercard Foundation Scholars ProgramÌýat ±«ÓãÖ±²¥.Ìý
- Potential impact on the development of the applicant’s home country.Ìý
- Applicants who have faced significant barriers to education (social, financial, personal, practical or health related).Ìý
