Throughout the year, electives can be requested by clerks and residents. The Distributed Medical Education (DME) office coordinates the Rural electives for the ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ trainees.
For non-±«ÓãÖ±²¥ trainees, procedures are in place for an interuniversity elective request. Please refer students interested in carrying out an elective rotation at your siteÌýto the following websites:
Clerks
- On-line application must be submittedÌýbetween 4 to 7 months prior to the proposed elective start date.
- Application is done through the AFMC Student Portal of the
Residents
- Request must be submitted to ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ at leastÌý3 months before the elective date.Ìý
