The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life (MORSL) is partnering with trained wellness facilitators at ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ who come from relevant cultural and faith backgrounds to offer space for faith-based groups to help ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ studentsÌýmanage the spiritual and emotional distressÌýsurrounding events in the Middle East and in the news or social media.
This group is forÌýstudents who identify asÌýJewish across the faith and cultural spectrum as well as different levels of observance. Group discussion is facilitated by ±«ÓãÖ±²¥ wellness professionals who are Jewish-identified, and is supported by MORSL staff with special contributions from Rabbi Ellen Greenspan, one of MORSL's volunteer Jewish faith leaders from the Montreal community. The group is grounded in the principles of confidentiality and mutual respect. No electronic devices permitted.
Space is limited for thisÌýin-personÌýgroup. There are several sessions planned over the semester that you can join. Each session is unique - you do not have to have attended a previous session to join an upcoming session. You also do not have to attend all the sessions.
