Neuro researchers awarded $10.5 M from CFI
Today the Honourable Ed Holder, Minister of State (Science and Technology) announced an investment of $333 million for research infrastructure through the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI). Two projects submitted by researchers affiliated with the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital 鈥� The Neuro at 鲍鱼直播 and the MUHC, have received a total of over $21 M in funding, with matching funds from the Government of Quebec.

The cortex is the outer layer of the brain in which critical cognitive functions such as memory, language and perception take place.
