Neuro researchers awarded $10.5 M from CFI
Today the Honourable Ed Holder, Minister of State (Science and Technology) announced an investment of $333 million for research infrastructure through the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI). Two projects submitted by researchers affiliated with the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital 鈥 The Neuro at 鲍鱼直播 and the MUHC, have received a total of over $21 M in funding, with matching funds from the Government of Quebec.

Teens test their smarts in the Brain Bee

The cortex is the outer layer of the brain in which critical cognitive functions such as memory, language and perception take place.
