pencil on a multiple choice exam bubble formApplicants to theÌýprogram must be graduates of a recognized university and hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, urban planning or architecture (or equivalent) and a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 out of a possible 4.0, or a GPA of 3.2 out of a 4.0 in the last two years of full-time studies in the relevant undergraduate program.

Proficiency in English

Applicants to graduate studies must demonstrate proficiency in English the application deadline, regardless of citizenship status or country of origin.Ìýstudents talking in library over books

Applicants whose mother tongue is not English and who have not completed an undergraduate or graduate degree from a recognized foreign institution where English is the language of instruction or from a recognized Canadian institution (anglophone or francophone), need to demonstrate an adequate level of proficiency in English, using one of the following options:

  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language); Applicants must achieve an overall minimum score of 94 on the internet-based test (iBT) with a minimum score of 20 for each component (i.e., Writing, Reading, Speaking, Listening); or
  • the IELTS (International English Language Testing System); Applicants must achieve a minimum overall band score of 7Ìýwith a score of at least 6.5 for each component to apply.

Graduate Record Examinations (GRE)
