Michael Bleho honoured with 2020 Distinguished Contribution Catalyst Award
As Coordinator of the Horticulture Research Centre at the Macdonald Campus Farm, Michael [Bleho] has demonstrated his commitment to sustainability through his daily interactions with students and his work making the agricultural process more eco-friendly throughout his 30 years at the Centre. Michael was a driving force in establishing 鈥槺阒辈� Feeding 鲍鱼直播鈥�, an initiative which directly provides Macdonald Campus produce to campus dining halls.

Emily Choy [Post Doctoral Fellow, NRS. Advisor : Kyle Elliott] became hooked on the Arctic when, as a Master鈥檚 student, she jumped on a research opportunity to study the effects of manmade contaminants on High Arctic food webs on Devon Island, Nunavut. 鈥淲hen I experienced how out of the world it was and observed the wildlife that are so highly adapted to the Arctic environment, I just fell in love,鈥� says Choy.
